Dosage

For gas-related gastrointestinal complaints: Infants: Single dose: 1-2 pump actuations (equivalent to 0.5-1 ml suspension).Children aged 1-6 years: Single dose: 2 pump actuations (equivalent to 1 ml suspension).Children aged 7-14 years: Single dose: 2-4 pump actuations (equivalent to 1-2 ml suspension).Adolescents and adults: Single dose: 4 pump actuations (equivalent to 2 ml suspension).Take the single dose 3-5 times daily.Infants should be given the medicine with their milk feeds.

For preparation for diagnostic examinations: The recommended dosage is 4-6 pump actuations (equivalent to 6-9 ml suspension) 3 times daily on the day before the examination, and 4-6 pump actuations (equivalent to 2-3 ml suspension) on the morning of the examination.As an additive to contrast medium suspensions, 8-16 pump actuations (equivalent to 4-8 ml suspension) are added per liter of contrast medium for double-contrast imaging.

As an immediate measure for poisoning with surfactants (manual dishwashing detergents, laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and liquid soaps): Depending on the severity of the poisoning, adults receive 1-2 tablespoons (10-20 ml suspension).Children receive ½-2 teaspoons (2.5-10 ml suspension).Medical treatment is required in all cases following this immediate measure.
