Lefax extra chewable tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of gas-related gastrointestinal complaints such as flatulence, bloating pain, tightness and increased gas formation after operations, as well as functional complaints of the upper gastrointestinal tract such as a feeling of fullness, pain/pressure in the upper abdomen, belching, nausea, premature feeling of satiety and nausea. It can also be used in preparation for diagnostic examinations in the abdomen to reduce gas shadows. The recommended dosage for adolescents 14 years and older and adults is 1-2 chewable tablets, 3-4 times daily with meals, or before bedtime, as needed. For the preparation of diagnostic examinations, the recommended dosage is 1 chewable tablet 1 day before the examination and 1 chewable tablet in the morning of the day of the examination. Lefax extra chewable tablets contain the active ingredient simeticon. Side effects are not known. Caution should be observed in case of allergy to spices such as anise, mugwort, dill, fennel, carrot, coriander, caraway, paprika, parsley, celery and tomato as well as in case of intolerance to glucose or sucrose (sugar).
