What are anal fissures?

Anal fissures are small, deep cuts in the skin that occur at the end of the anal canal.They are usually a few millimeters in size and are usually located in the posterior comissure of the anus.Anal fissures are one of the most common reasons for a proctological examination after hemorrhoid disease.This problem can occur in all age groups, but is particularly common in people between 20 and 40 years old.

Supportive measures

Although preventing anal fissures is not always possible, there are behaviors that can help relieve symptoms.This includes a diet rich in fiber, avoiding irritating foods, drinking enough water and taking daily walks of at least 30 minutes at a brisk pace.

Application

Dosage

The recommended dosage is a single-dose tube twice daily for at least 20 days.

Using the tubes

To apply the emulgel, first unscrew the cap from the applicator.Hold the tube firmly and carefully insert the applicator into the anus without fully inserting the cannula.Then squeeze the tube to release all of the contents.
