Isotonic saline solution 0.9% Ecoflac Plus Semi-Filled is an infusion solution containing sodium chloride as the active ingredient. It is used to compensate for fluid and salt deficiencies in the body. It can also be used for short-term replenishment of the vascular system, as a carrier solution for electrolyte concentrates and medicines, for wound treatment and for moistening cloths and dressings. The solution contains common salt in a concentration that corresponds to the salt concentration in the blood. There are certain situations and conditions where Isotonic Saline 0.9% Brown should not be used, for example, hyperhydration and severe hypernatremia or hyperchloremia. People with abnormally low potassium, abnormally high sodium or chloride levels in the blood or certain conditions such as heart failure, kidney problems, oedema or high blood pressure should discuss the use with their doctor. Regular checks of electrolyte levels, water balance and acid-base balance are carried out during treatment. Isotonic saline solution 0.9% Brown can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
