Description

The Accu Chek Aviva control solution is used to check the functionality of the blood glucose meter and the test strips.It ensures that the measured values are correct and the device works properly.This check is particularly useful when using a new pack of test strips or if the test strip tube was not properly sealed.

Mode of action

The control solution contains a defined glucose concentration.The measuring process with the control solution corresponds to that of blood sugar measurement.The device detects whether blood or control solution has been drawn and indicates whether the reading is within the acceptable range.This will be shown on the meter display.

Application

To use the Accu Chek Aviva control solution, insert the test strip into the meter.Squeeze a drop of control solution out of the bottle and bring it into contact with the bottom edge of the test strip.The measured value is shown on the display.If “OK” appears, the value is correct.If “Err” appears, the value is outside the permitted range.For detailed information, please refer to the instructions for use.
