Iodine tincture Caelo

Caelo's iodine tincture is a proven home remedy for disinfecting skin and wounds.It is a ready-made medicinal product and is characterized by its good disinfectant effect.This product does not require a prescription, making it easy to keep on hand in your home medicine cabinet.

Areas of application

Caelo's iodine tincture is used to disinfect the skin before injections and incisions, as well as to disinfect wounds.

Contraindications

The iodine tincture must not be used if you are hypersensitive to iodine.In patients with an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism), caution should be exercised when treating larger areas of skin as iodine can be absorbed through the skin.

Side effects

Skin reactions may occur if you are hypersensitive to iodine.In rare cases, fever may develop.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed, the ethanol-containing iodine solution is applied to the skin area to be disinfected.

Notes

The iodine tincture should be stored tightly closed and out of the reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
