Summary: Infekt-Komplex L Ho-Fu-Complex® is a homeopathic medicine used for the treatment of colds. It contains the active ingredients aconitum, apis, belladonna, echinacea mother tincture, gelsemium, guaiacum and potassium iodatum. The medicine is available as drops and contains 53.4 % alcohol by volume. There are some indications and precautions that should be observed. The medicine should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to certain substances, in alcoholics and in certain diseases such as tuberculosis, leukaemia, inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue, autoimmune diseases and chronic viral diseases. Pregnant and breastfeeding women are advised to consult their doctor before use. The medicinal product should also not be used in children under 12 years of age. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products. Side effects may occur in rare cases and include hypersensitivity reactions. The dosage recommendation is that in acute conditions 5 drops should be taken every half to a full hour, not more than 6 times a day. For chronic conditions, 1-3 times a day is recommended. The drops are best taken undiluted or with a little water and left in the mouth for some time. The medicine should not be taken for longer than 2 weeks. It is recommended to consult a doctor in case of persistent, unclear or newly occurring complaints. If side effects occur, a doctor should also be consulted. Source: Package leaflet
