Directions for use of Isla Cassis Pastilles: Isla Cassis Pastilles are suitable for relieving throat discomfort caused by coughing, hoarseness and severe strain on the vocal cords. The pastilles can also help with dry breath, dry mouth and restricted nasal breathing. They act like a protective balm over the irritated mucous membrane, allowing it to heal more quickly. Isla Cassis Pastilles contain 80 mg aqueous extract of Iceland moss and other ingredients such as ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and blackcurrant extract. They are used by sucking 1-2 pastilles several times a day. The pastilles can also be used over a longer period of time if necessary. There is no evidence against their use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side effects are rare and may include a laxative effect or hypersensitivity reactions.
