RhizoLoc Stabilizing thumb orthosis

The RhizoLoc orthosis is used to stabilize the saddle of the thumb and the metatarsophalangeal joint of the thumb.It is suitable for postoperative and post-traumatic care, collateral ligament injuries such as the ski thumb, mild rhizarthrosis as well as sprains and contusions.Using an individually moldable aluminum bracket, the orthosis splints the thumb at the saddle and base joints, allowing the affected collateral ligaments to regenerate optimally.

Using a special Velcro tab, the restriction of movement in the thumb joint can be adjusted tightly or loosely, depending on therapeutic needs.The breathable material with integrated pores allows air to reach the skin, which makes it comfortable to wear and prevents sweating.Thanks to the practical Velcro fastener, the orthosis is easy to put on and take off.

Product features

The RhizoLoc orthosis offers a high level of stabilization of the thumb joint thanks to the aluminum bracket.The movement in the base thumb joint can be limited using the special Velcro strap.Putting it on is easy with Velcro straps and retraction stops.Freedom of movement in the wrist is maintained by a narrow strap and a small deflection ring.

Care instructions

RhizoLoc can be cleaned by hand and with a mild, alkaline-free cleaning agent.The Velcro fasteners should be closed to ensure their functionality.Dry the product in the air and not in the dryer, otherwise damage to the product may occur.Only wash the orthosis by hand at 30°C using a mild detergent.Allow the orthosis to air dry.Regular care ensures optimal effect.Also note the instructions on the sew-in label at the top of your product.Never expose the product to direct heat, as this can affect its effectiveness, among other things.If you have any complaints, please contact your dealer.Only cleaned goods are processed.

Available color and size

The RhizoLoc orthosis is available in the color titanium.There are two sizes:

Size 1: Wrist circumference 12.5 - 16 cm, thumb circumference 5 - 7 cm.

Size 2: Wrist circumference 16 - 20 cm, thumb circumference 6.5 - 9 cm.
