Information for use of the article B12 Ankermann überzogene Tabletten: - Active substance: Cyanocobalamin 1000 µg - Indications: Treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency due to malnutrition, treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency due to impaired absorption of vitamin B12, permanent treatment of pernicious anaemia induced by vitamin B12 deficiency after normalisation of blood values in adults. - Warning: Contains lactose and sucrose. - Other ingredients: Povidone K 30, stearic acid, montanglycol wax, lactose monohydrate, sucrose, arabic gum, talcum powder, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, white clay, macrogol 6000, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, sodium dodecyl sulphate, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, medium chain triglycerides. - Directions for use: take 1 tablet once daily in the morning, unchewed, with liquid on an empty stomach. - Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the ingredients - Side effects: So far, side effects have only occurred in exceptional cases - Composition: cyanocobalamin 1 mg, povidone K30, stearic acid (vegetable), montanglycol wax, lactose-1-water, lactose, sucrose, arabic gum, talc, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, clay (white), macrogol 6000, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, sodium dodecyl sulphate, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose (15 mPa-s), hyprolose, medium chain triglycerides. - Mode of action: Cyanocobalamin is converted to vitamin B12 in the body and is involved in blood formation, among other things. - Important information: Monitor blood count during treatment and if necessary after discontinuation, caution in case of allergy to binding agents and lactose, interactions with other medicinal products possible. - Storage: Store away from heat - Commercial forms: B12 Ankermann coated tablets. B12 Ankermann Coated Tablets contain the active substance cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). They are used to treat vitamin B12 deficiency caused by malnutrition or by impaired absorption of vitamin B12. They can also be used for the permanent treatment of pernicious anaemia induced by vitamin B12 deficiency after the blood levels have been normalised. In addition to the active substance, the tablets also contain other ingredients such as povidone K 30, stearic acid and sucrose. They are taken once daily in the morning, unchewed, with liquid on an empty stomach. People with hypersensitivity to the ingredients should not take the medicine.
