Instructions for use of the article ZeckenSchlinge The TickSnare is a product that offers a safe and gentle way to remove ticks completely from the skin. Ticks can transmit dangerous pathogens such as FSME and Lyme disease. By squeezing the tick, it releases infected parts of the ingested blood back into the bite site. This process is largely prevented with the TickSnare, as the tick is strangled. The practical clip design and handy format make the TickSnare easy to carry and always ready to hand. Instructions for use: 1. push the slider forward with your thumb to open the snare. Place the open loop directly around the tick (between the tick head and the tick body). 3. Slowly pull the slider back so that the loop wraps tightly around the tick. 4. 4. hold the slider in position with your thumb and slowly pull the tick out upwards (twisting is not necessary). 5. use the accompanying mortar and the snug-fitting back of the TickSnare to render the tick harmless. If the snare does not open far enough on very large ticks, apply light pressure to the tip of the snare with your fingers. After removing the tick, the affected skin area should be thoroughly disinfected.
