Pur-Zellin consists of ready-to-use cellulose swabs that are pre-cut on a roll.These swabs are made from highly bleached dressing pulp that meets the requirements of the German Pharmacopoeia.Pur-Zellin is available in both sterile and non-sterile versions.The Pur-Zellin box is available for practical and hygienic removal.

Area of application

Pur-Zellin is an active ingredient-free product made from 100% absorbent cellulose.It serves as a mechanical barrier or to absorb exudate and is intended for single-use use.Pur-Zellin can be used by laypeople and healthcare professionals in clinical and home settings.It is suitable for temporary treatment of minor injuries, cleaning medical devices such as thermometers and skin cleansing before injections and infusions.It can also be used as a suction pad for minor injuries, for local disinfection before minor surgical procedures and for various work in the laboratory.

Pur-Zellin is a single-use product.Reusing a single-use medical device is dangerous because reprocessing can significantly compromise the integrity and performance of the device.
