Instructions for use of the article Leukoplast Fixomull transparent 15 cm x 10 m: Leukoplast Fixomull transparent is a waterproof full-surface dressing fixation that provides good hold and allows showering and bathing without additional dressing changes. It protects against friction, is breathable and allows observation of the wound surrounding skin. The dressing fixation consists of a thin and flexible polyurethane film coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. It has a size of 15 cm x 10 m. Fields of application are the waterproof fixation of wound dressings, also on joints and extremities, the fixation of instruments, catheters, measuring elements and probes as well as the hygienic fixation of ointment dressings during hydrotherapy. Fixomull is easy to handle and particularly skin-friendly. It consists of a viscose gauze carrier with a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive. The dressing fixation is permeable to air and water vapour and has good immediate and permanent adhesive strength. Further applications of Fixomull are the full-surface fixation of wound dressings on large-area wounds and the use for pressure and relief dressings. Fixomull transparent 10mx15cm is a transparent full-surface dressing fixation which is water and vapour permeable, breathable and skin-friendly. It can be individually cut to size and provides a germ-tight film dressing that protects wounds from dirt and infection. Contraindications for the use of Fixomull are a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.
