Instructions for use of the article Fresubin ENERGY Drink Forest Fruit: - Product characteristics: - Name: Food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). - Use/Recommendation for use: - 2-3 bottles for supplementary nutrition or 5-7 bottles for exclusive nutrition or as recommended by a doctor. - Drink slowly! - Storage conditions: - Store at room temperature. - Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours. - Shake well before use. - Ingredients: - Water, maltodextrin, milk protein, vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), sugar, flavourings, potassium citrate, sodium citrate, beetroot powder, emulsifiers (E 471, soya lecithins), sodium chloride, potassium chloride, vitamin C, choline chloride, magnesium oxide, iron pyrophosphate, acidity regulators (E 330), zinc sulphate, niacin, vitamin E, pantothenic acid, manganese chloride, copper sulphate, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, sodium fluoride, beta-carotene, vitamin B1, vitamin A, folic acid, chromium chloride, sodium molybdate, vitamin K1, potassium iodide, sodium selenite, biotin, vitamin D3, vitamin B12. - Indication: - For dietary management in patients with existing or impending malnutrition, especially with increased energy requirements. - Mode of action: - High calorie (1.5 kcal/ml). - Without dietary fibre. - Suitable for supplementary or exclusive nutrition. - Contraindications: - In case of known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients. - Dosage: - For supplementary nutrition: 2-3 bottles per day. - For exclusive nutrition: 5-7 bottles per day. - Indications: - Not suitable in case of contraindications for enteral nutrition, intolerance to ingredients or galactosemia. - Not suitable for children. - Use only under medical supervision. - Ensure adequate fluid intake. - Manufacturer: - Fresenius Kabi Deutschland GmbH
