The active ingredient in Vitamin B12 Lichtenstein is cyanocobalamin.Each milliliter of solution for injection contains 1,000 micrograms (1 mg) of cyanocobalamin.The other ingredients are sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, water for injections and sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to cyanocobalamin or any of the other ingredients of the product.

Dosage

Always use the medicine exactly as directed.The recommended dose at the start of treatment in the first two weeks after diagnosis is 1 ml (1 ampoule) once or twice a week, corresponding to 1000 - 2000 µg cyanocobalamin per week.If a vitamin B12 absorption disorder in the intestine is proven, 100 µg cyanocobalamin is then administered once a month.

Poisoning or overdose symptoms are not known.A double dose should not be used if the previous dose has been forgotten.If you interrupt the treatment, you endanger the success of the treatment!If you experience unpleasant side effects, please talk to your doctor about further treatment.

Intake
