Akutur spag. drops is a registered homeopathic medicinal product for which no specific therapeutic indication is given. It contains various homeopathic active ingredients such as Acidum benzoicum, Acidum nitricum, Apis mellifica, Lytta vesicatoria, Populus tremuloides, Pulsatilla pratensis, Zingiber officinale and Solidago virgaurea. It is recommended to take 5 drops every half to one hour up to 6 times a day for acute conditions and 1 to 3 times a day for chronic conditions. Use beyond one week should only be done after consultation with a homeopathically experienced therapist. The product should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or hypersensitivity to salicylate or bee venom. It is also stated that when taking a homeopathic medicine, the existing symptoms may temporarily worsen and in this case the medicine should be discontinued.
