Contraindications

Dosage

Particular caution is required when taking the drug: In patients with a tendency to kidney stone formation, there is a risk of calcium oxalate stone formation when taking high doses of vitamin C (2000 - 3000 mg/day).Please consult your doctor about this.In people with healthy kidneys, an oral dose of up to 5000 mg/day is considered safe.When taking high doses (> 4000 mg/day) of vitamin C, severe hemolysis was observed in individual cases in patients with erythrocytic glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (a very rare metabolic disease).Exceeding the specified dosage recommendation should therefore be avoided.Please consult your doctor about this.
