Directions for use of the product Traumon Spray Important information (compulsory information): Traumon Spray. Active substance: etofenamate. Indications: For the external supportive symptomatic treatment of pain; in acute strains, sprains or contusions in the region of the extremities as a result of blunt trauma, e.g. sports injuries; of the soft tissues close to the joint (e.g. bursa, tendons, ligaments and joint capsule) in osteoarthritis of the knee joint. USE INFORMATION: INFORMATION FÜR DEN ANWENDER Traumon Spray, 1 g solution contains 100 mg etofenamate. Active ingredient: etofenamate For use in adults Read all of this leaflet carefully before you start using this medicine. This medicine is available without a prescription. However, to achieve the best possible treatment success, Traumon Spray must be used as prescribed. Keep this leaflet for future reference. You may want to read it again later. Ask your pharmacist if you need more information or advice. If your symptoms get worse, or if there is no improvement after 2 weeks (blunt injury) or after 3-4 weeks in the case of rheumatic conditions, you must see a doctor in any case. If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist. WAS IST TRAUMON SPRAY UND WOFÜR WIRD ES USED? Traumon INFORMATION FÜR DEN ANWENDER Spray is a medicinal product for application to the skin. The active substance etofenamate belongs to the group of non-steroidal (cortisone-free) anti-inflammatory drugs and has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Indications: - Supportive symptomatic treatment of pain WAS IST TRAUMON SPRAY UND WOFÜR WIRD ES - Acute strains, sprains or bruises - Soft tissues close to the joint in osteoarthritis of the knee joint WAS MÜSSEN SIE VOR DER ANWENDUNG VON TRAUMON SPRAY NOTE? Traumon Spray must not be used: - In case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or other ingredients. - On open injuries, inflammations or infections of the skin as well as on eczema or mucous membranes. - In the last trimester of pregnancy - In children and adolescents Special caution is required when using Traumon Spray: - In cases of asthma, hay fever or chronic respiratory diseases. - In case of hypersensitivity to other substances with skin reactions or itching - Avoid contact with the rubbed-in skin areas. There are no known interactions when Traumon Spray is used with other medicines. WAS IST MIT SCHWANGERSCHAFT UND STILL TIME? Traumon Spray should only be used during pregnancy after consultation with a doctor. During breastfeeding, prolonged use should be avoided and the daily dose should not be exceeded. WIE IST TRAUMON SPRAY TO BE USED? Spray Traumon Spray 4 times daily 7 sprays onto the affected area and surrounding area. After every 1-2 sprays, rub the solution in lightly and allow to dry. do not ingest. Allow to dry for a few minutes before applying a dressing. Do not use an occlusive dressing. Duration of treatment: sports injuries max. 1 week, rheumatic diseases 3-4 weeks. WELCHE NEBENWIRKUNGEN SIND POSSIBLE? Occasionally, local skin reactions such as redness, itching or burning may occur. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions or allergic reactions may occur. Side effects on the whole organism are possible with prolonged use. [HOW SHOULD I KEEP THIS WIE IST TRAUMON SPRAY MEDICINE? Keep out of the reach of children. Observe expiry date. No special storage conditions required. WEITERE INFORMATIONEN Traumon Spray contains the active substance etofenamate and other ingredients. It has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic effect. Indications: - When used as directed, no overdose symptoms are known. - Observe the dosage and instructions for use, especially for infants, small children and elderly people. - In case of contraindications do not use the medicinal product except under medical supervision. - Possible side effects are local skin reactions and hypersensitivity reactions. Composition: Active substance: etofenamate Other ingredients: Diisopropyladipate, alpha-hexadecyl/(Z)-octadec-9-en-1-yl]-omega-hydroxypoly(oxyethylene)-8, macrogol 400, propan-2-ol, propylene glycol, purified water. Note: Traumon Spray may cause discolouration or surface changes on polished furniture or plastics. Note from our pharmacists: The maximum supply quantity is 15 packs per quarter. Additional maximum quantities may be set for certain medicines, especially in the case of short-term use or an increased potential for overdose.
