Doc Ibuprofen Schmerzgel 5% Gel is a topical pain gel containing the active ingredient ibuprofen. It is used for the sole or supportive external treatment of swelling and inflammation of soft tissues close to the joints, such as bursae, tendons, tendon sheaths, ligaments and joint capsules, as well as for sports and accident injuries such as bruises, sprains and strains. The gel has an anti-inflammatory effect and relieves pain. It is applied externally to the affected areas and should not be applied to open injuries or under airtight dressings. The recommended duration of use is 2-3 weeks. The package leaflet should be read before use and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if necessary. The gel contains fragrances with benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, citral, citronellol, coumarin, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, d-limonene and linalool.
