Mode of action

The Doc Therma heat belt back heats up automatically through contact with oxygen and reaches its maximum temperature within around 30 minutes.The soothing warming effect lasts up to 8 hours and helps to relieve back pain and relax tense muscles.The heat is generated by a reaction of iron oxide, activated carbon, vermiculite, sodium chloride, water and superabsorbents, which are located in chambers made of fleece.An air-permeable film on the inside of the belt regulates the oxygen supply and ensures even heat dissipation.

Contraindications

Doc Therma Heat Belt Back must not be used on children up to the age of 12, during sleep, if you have poor circulation or heart disease, if you have diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis, if you are pregnant, on diseased, damaged, injured or sensitive skin, on parts of the body where heat is not noticeable, in conjunction with medication-containing creams, lotions or ointments, when using other heat therapies, including electrical heat sourcesBedridden people and patients with a tendency to develop skin ulcers, people who are unable to put on or remove the warming belt on their own, bruises or swelling that have occurred within the last 48 hours, and if your doctor advises against using it due to your medical condition.

Dosage

To use the Doc Therma heat belt back, first open the plastic packaging and take out the heat belt.Place it precisely on the painful area in the lumbar or hip area.Stretch the belt to the desired length and secure it with the Velcro fastener on the front.The heat belt can be worn for up to 8 hours to achieve an optimal effect.

Patient information

Heat products can cause burns.Check the skin for signs of burns or blisters.Discontinue use if you notice any unusual skin irritation.Discontinue use and contact a doctor if pain worsens or remains unchanged after 7 days of use.The risk of skin burns increases with age.If you have sensitive or mature skin, put a thin piece of clothing under the heat belt; it should not lie directly on the skin.
