Directions for use of the article Doc Ibuprofen Schmerzgel - Doc Ibuprofen Pain Gel is suitable for the external treatment of swelling and inflammation of the soft tissues near the joints, such as the bursa, tendons, ligaments and joint capsule, as well as for sports and accident injuries such as bruises, sprains and strains. - The pain gel contains the active ingredient ibuprofen, which has an anti-inflammatory effect and relieves pain. It helps to reduce pain and inflammation and to reduce the production of certain pain messengers. - The medicine is manufactured by the company HERMES Arzneimittel GmbH. - The gel is applied to the affected areas of the skin and massaged. A duration of 2-3 weeks is recommended. - The pain gel is suitable for people over 14 years of age and is well tolerated. It does not dry out the skin. - Side effects of the gel may include hypersensitivity reactions of the skin, such as redness, itching, burning, rash and dehydration. - The gel should not be used on open injuries, inflammation of the skin and eczema, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It should also be avoided in children under 14 years of age. - The dosage and application of the gel should be according to the package leaflet. If there are any questions or if the symptoms do not improve, a doctor should be consulted. - Additional products such as Doc Arnica cream or heat compresses can be used as a complementary pain treatment. - The gel should be stored away from heat.
