Milgamma Mono 300 film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient benfotiamine, which is used for the therapy or prophylaxis of clinical vitamin B1 deficiencies, if these cannot be corrected nutritionally. Vitamin B1 deficiency can occur in cases of malnutrition, parenteral nutrition, zero diet, haemodialysis, malabsorption, chronic alcoholism, increased requirements (e.g. pregnancy and lactation) and diabetes mellitus. In addition to the treatment of neuropathies and cardiovascular disorders caused by vitamin B1 deficiency, Milgamma Mono 300 is also used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency and for the treatment of nervous disorders caused by vitamin B1 deficiency and cardiovascular disorders. The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet daily, which should be taken over a period of at least 3 weeks. The duration of use depends on the therapeutic success. Milgamma Mono 300 is well tolerated and is also suitable for diabetics. However, allergic reactions may occur. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking the tablets. The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with some liquid. There are no special precautions regarding the ability to drive and operate machinery.
