The Visomat comfort 20/40 upper arm blood pressure monitor is a device for the non-invasive measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure as well as for determining the pulse rate and calculating the pulse pressure in adults.It uses the oscillometric method to measure blood pressure and pulse.The cuff is connected to the device and placed on the arm.A sensor measures the small pressure oscillations created by the expansion and contraction of the arteries with each heartbeat.The amplitude of the pressure waves is measured, converted into millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and shown on the display as a digital value.

Special features

The device has clinically tested measuring accuracy (ESH validation) and a gentle, shortened measuring process by measuring during inflation.It displays irregular pulse waves and has a movement control and a cuff fit control.It also offers a pulse pressure display, a universal cuff for arm circumferences of 23 - 43 cm, two user memories for 120 measured values each with average value display, a traffic light function for easy classification of blood pressure values, a large, high-contrast display and the date and time display.A power supply connection is also available, although the power supply is available as an optional accessory.

The fully automatic upper arm device is equipped with the unique, universal visoMAX quality cuff.This cuff is suitable for normal to extra strong arms (23 - 43 cm), eliminating the need to change cuffs.The measuring process is shortened and automated because the measurement takes place during inflation.The device detects arrhythmias using optical and acoustic signals and has a large 3-value digital display (SYS/DIA/PUL).It offers a memory for 30 measured values with average value display and a power supply connection for mains operation (power supply as an optional accessory).A zip pocket is also included.
