Description

Linola Urea Cream is a cream containing urea that is intended for use on the skin.It is used to treat dry skin, for example neurodermatitis or aging skin, as well as to treat ichthyosis, also known as fish scale disease.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The cream contains 120 mg of urea as an active ingredient.The following excipients are also included: (RS)-lactic acid, sodium salt, 2-phenoxyethanol, cetyl alcohol, Dimeticon 350, glycerol monostearate, lactic acid, PEG-20 glyceryl stearate, propylene glycol, medium-chain triglycerides, white petroleum jelly and purified water.

Application

Linola Urea Cream is used to treat dry skin as well as neurodermatitis or aging skin and to treat ichthyosis.The cream is intended for use on the skin.Apply the cream thinly to the affected skin areas and rub in lightly.

Dosage

Always use the cream exactly as directed.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the cream is applied to the affected skin areas twice a day.The duration of use depends on need or as directed by a doctor.If you have used more than you should, stop using the product as the irritation will quickly go away on its own.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose, but continue treatment at the intended dose.If you want to stop using it, discuss further steps with your doctor or pharmacist.

Contraindications

The preparation must not be used if you are hypersensitive to urea or any of the other ingredients.It should not be used to treat scratched, acute skin inflammation.The cream must also not be used on large areas of skin in patients with impaired kidney function or renal insufficiency.

Patient information

Particular care is required to prevent the cream from coming into contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.If the cream is used in the genital or anal area and latex products at the same time, the functionality of these products may be reduced due to the excipients they contain and thus the safety of these products may be impaired.There is no experience with use in children.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Pregnancy

The cream can be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding as there is no known evidence of risks.
