Notakehl D4 is a homeopathic medicine containing the active ingredient Penicillium chrysogenum D4. It is used to support inflammatory processes and bacterial infections in various parts of the body. Indications include respiratory and HNO-diseases, infections of the urogenital tract, gastrointestinal tract and purulent processes. It is also used in a supportive way for diseases of the musculoskeletal system such as cervical spine syndrome and LWS-syndrome. The mode of action of Notakehl D4 is based on restoring the microbial balance in the body. It contains specific components of the mould Penicillium chrysogenum. The medicine must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to moulds, autoimmune diseases, children under 12 years of age and during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side effects may occur in rare cases, especially hypersensitivity reactions. In case of persistent or new complaints, the medicinal product should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. The dosage recommendation for Notakehl D4 is to take 1 hard capsule 1-3 times daily before meals with sufficient liquid. The duration of therapy should not exceed 4 weeks. In addition to the active substance Penicillium chrysogenum D4, the capsules contain lactose and hypromellose as other ingredients.
