Directions for use of the article Hya-Ophtal sine eye drops: Hya-Ophtal sine eye drops are an eye moisturiser for wetting and rewetting hard and soft contact lenses during wear. The drops can be used as often as necessary and there is no time limit. As needed, 1 drop should be placed in each eye by carefully detaching a one-dose ophtiole from the strip and removing the cap. Pull the lower eyelid down slightly and hold the ophtiole vertically over the open eye to insert 1-2 drops. Then close the eye and move it slightly to the right and left to distribute the drop well on the surface of the eye. In case of hypersensitivity reactions or allergic reactions, the treatment should be discontinued. In patients with severe corneal damage, deposits of calcium phosphate on the cornea may occur during treatment. To avoid injury, the tip of the one-dose ophtiole should not touch the ocular surface. Wait approximately 15 minutes before applying any other product to the eye. The one-dose ophtiole should be discarded after use and not reused. Do not use damaged ophthalmic vials. Hya-Ophtal sine should be kept out of the reach of children as it contains small plastic parts which may be swallowed by young children. The ingredients of Hya-Ophtal sine are 0.2 % sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrophosphate dihydrate and water for injection. The product is free of preservatives. Hya-Ophtal sine eye drops provide long-lasting freshness and soothing moisturisation of the eyes. They contain hyaluronic acid, which can bind a lot of water and thus forms a stable, long-lasting liquid film on the surface of the eye. The eye drops are suitable for refreshing and moisturising dry eyes and improve the wearing comfort of contact lenses. They are available in preservative-free single-dose containers and are particularly suitable for on-the-go use. The dosage consists of placing one drop into the conjunctival sac as needed. When dropping, care should be taken to hold the single-dose ophtiole as vertically as possible and to avoid contact with the eye and contact lens. After use, the single-dose containers should be discarded as they cannot be reused. The medicinal product does not contain preservatives and should not be stored after use but disposed of. It must not be used in case of hypersensitivity reactions or a known allergy to the active substance or other components of the medicinal product.
