Betaseptic Mundipharma solution is a germicidal agent (antiseptic) for skin disinfection before operations, injections, biopsies, punctures and blood sampling. It contains the active ingredients povidone-iodine, 2-propanol and ethanol 96%. The solution is applied undiluted and the exposure time varies depending on the type of procedure. After application, an air-permeable film forms which can be washed out with water. The product should not be used on mucous membranes and open wounds.
