Instructions for use of the article Saline solution 0,9% B.Braun Spüllsg.Ecolav Product characteristics: - NaCl 0.9% B. Braun irrigation solution, sterile and endotoxin-free. - Composition: per 1000 ml solution: sodium chloride 9.00 g in aqua ad iniectabilia. Electrolytes: mmol/l Na+ 154, Cl- 154. Indications: - For irrigation and cleansing in surgical procedures, wounds, burns, bladder catheters, ostomy care, instruments and accessories, endoscopic procedures without HF-current, TUR-procedures, respiratory humidifiers, mechanical eye irrigation and nasal irrigation. Dosage: - The amount of fluid depends on the situation. Overdose: - In case of overdose, symptoms of hyperhydration may occur, such as headache, nausea, agitation and disorientation. Countermeasures in case of overdose: - Discontinue flushing and correct water and electrolyte balance according to the clinical situation. Warnings and precautions: - Do not use for infusion. - Use solution only if closure is intact and solution is clear. - Do not store opened containers, discard remaining quantities. - Reuse of disposable equipment carries potential risk. - Keep out of reach of children. - Do not use in hyperhydration or certain medical conditions. NaCl 0.9% B. Braun must not be used intrathecally. Adverse side effects: - Not known. Expiry date: - Do not use the solution after the expiry date stated on the label. Manufacturer: B.
