Summary: Doppelherz Glucosamine Hydrochloride 750 mg Tablets are used to relieve symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee joint. The dosage for adults is 1 tablet 2 times daily with meals. The medicine should not be taken in case of hypersensitivity to glucosamine or shellfish. Caution is advised in case of impaired glucose tolerance, cardiovascular diseases and asthma. The drug should be used with caution together with warfarin and tetracycline. Possible side effects are gastrointestinal complaints, hypersensitivity reactions of the skin, headache and fatigue. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take the medicine. The medicine contains 750 mg glucosamine hydrochloride and other excipients such as microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate. The active substance inhibits the breakdown and degeneration of cartilage cells. The pack sizes are 20, 40, 60 and 180 tablets. The medicine should be kept away from moisture and at temperatures below 30 °C. It should not be stored beyond the expiry date. It should not be used beyond the expiry date.
