Instructions for use of the article Mefix Fixation Fleece 11 Mx10 cm Mefix is an air-permeable and transversely stretchable non-woven for the full-surface fixation of dressings. The transverse stretchability allows application over joints. The skin-friendly water-emulsion based polyacrylate adhesive ensures gentle and secure adhesion. Mefix measures 11 m x 10 cm and has a length-marked protective film for easy removal and cutting. The wavy perforated protective film facilitates handling. The non-woven fabric is soft, elastic and non-absorbent for high wearing comfort. Mefix can be used to fix dressings, compresses, catheters and cannulas. The non-woven material is porous and allows air and water vapour to pass through. It is stretchable, adapts to body shapes and allows body movements without slipping. It also prevents blood and other fluids from soaking through. The water-based polyacrylate adhesive is skin-friendly and provides a secure fixation. The protective paper of Mefix is marked and has a perforated slit to facilitate removal and application of the dressing. Mefix can be quickly cut to the desired length. Mefix is made of a lightweight, elastic, non-absorbent polyester non-woven fabric and a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive. It is protected by a longitudinally marked film.
