Habstal Cor N is a homeopathic mixture used to improve heart complaints caused by nervousness. The mixture contains the active ingredients Crataegus (hawthorn), Digitalis purpurea (red foxglove), Spigelia anthelmia (wormwood) and Strophanthus gratus (strophanthus). It comes in the form of drops for oral use. There are no known contraindications and there are no known interactions with other medicines. Nevertheless, it should only be used for heart complaints on medical advice and does not replace other medicines prescribed by a doctor. In case of pain in the heart area, shortness of breath or water retention in the legs, medical clarification should be sought. Pregnant and breastfeeding women are advised to consult their doctor before use. The medicinal product should also not be used in children under 12 years of age, as there is insufficient experience. There are no known side effects. However, there may be a temporary aggravation of existing symptoms when a homeopathic medicine is taken. The dosage is individual, but as a guide 10-20 drops can be taken every half to a full hour for acute conditions and 20 drops 3 times a day for chronic courses.
