Fixomull stretch is an adhesive dressing suitable for the fixation of wound dressings. It can be applied over the entire surface of frequently moving parts of the body and joints and is also suitable for securely attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements. The dressing consists of a polyester fleece coated with polyacrylate adhesive. It is conformable and fits well to contoured parts of the body without causing constriction or circulation problems. The dressing has good immediate and permanent adhesion and is permeable to air and water vapour. It prevents contamination and is well tolerated by patients with sensitive skin. The dressing can be cut to size and is versatile. For application, the required amount is cut off, the protective film is removed and the dressing is applied smoothly to the affected part of the body.
