Directions for use of the article Nefrocarnit Syrup Oral solution: Nefrocarnit Oral Syrup Solution contains levocarnitine, an L-amino acid derivative used to treat carnitine deficiency in dialysis patients. Carnitine deficiency occurs in patients who are deficient in carnitine due to dialysis treatment. The recommended dosage is 1 g of levocarnitine per day and should be taken after dialysis treatment. The duration of use is determined by the doctor. The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. The medicine is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to levocarnitine or other components of the preparation. For more information on the correct dosage and use, see the package leaflet. Storage should be at room temperature and the medicinal product must not be used for more than 3 months after opening the bottle. Before using the medicinal product, interactions with other medicines should be checked.
