Directions for use of the article Tumarol N Balsam: Tumarol N Balsam is a herbal medicinal product for external use in colds of the respiratory tract. It contains the active ingredients eucalyptus oil, camphor and menthol. The areas of application include colds of the respiratory tract such as rhinitis, hoarseness and cough. The recommended dosage for adults and children from 2 years of age is 1-4 cm of balm, rubbed twice daily on the chest and back. For babies and small children, the balm can be put on cotton wool and placed on the chest. For inhalation, put the balm in hot water and inhale the vapours for several minutes. A duration of application of 3-5 days should not be exceeded, unless a doctor recommends otherwise. There are some contraindications to consider, such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients, bronchial asthma and whooping cough. Side effects may occur, such as skin reactions, mucous membrane irritation and increased coughing. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicine.
