Instructions for use for TUMAROL Cream, 50 g

Tumarol cream is a medicinal product suitable for external use in colds of the respiratory tract. It can be used for uncomplicated rhinitis, hoarseness and uncomplicated bronchial catarrh. The cream contains the active ingredients eucalyptus oil, D-camphor and levomenthol. It is applied by rubbing it on the chest and back or by inhalation. For children from 2 years of age and adults, it is recommended to rub in a 1-4 cm strand of ointment in the morning and evening and to inhale additionally 2-3 times a day if necessary. The duration of use is not limited, but a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist or if shortness of breath, headache, fever or purulent/bloody sputum occurs. Tumarol cream must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients, in babies and small children under 2 years of age and in certain respiratory diseases. The cream may cause irritation of the skin and mucous membranes as well as constriction of the airways. External application may cause symptoms of poisoning. Side effects may include skin reactions, irritation of the cough and shortness of breath. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicine. Tumarol cream is available in packs of 50 g and should not be used after the expiry date.
