Area of application

The preparation is a dermatic for the scalp that contains an active ingredient from the group of sulfonated shale oils.It is used as a supportive treatment for scalp conditions such as oily scalp, also known as seborrhea capitis.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The product contains the following active ingredients and excipients: 400 mg isopropyl alcohol, 5 mg sodium bituminosulfonate, light, fragrance, sodium laureth-2 sulfate, 5 mg propylene glycol and purified water.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are allergic to sodium bituminosulfonate, light or any of the other ingredients.The product should also not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Dosage and application

Always use the medicine exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The preparation is usually applied to the affected scalp two to three times a day and massaged in gently.Before use it is advisable to remove dandruff to improve the effect.If you have an oily scalp, your hair should be washed daily; if your scalp is dry, brush out the dandruff thoroughly.

The duration of use depends on the success of the treatment and should be continued until the symptoms subside.When used correctly, no overdoses are known.If accidentally swallowed, no symptoms of poisoning are to be expected.In case of eye contact, rinse with water and consult a doctor.

If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.Do not stop treatment abruptly, but discuss this with your doctor.

Avoid contact with eyes or open wounds as the product can be irritating in concentrated form.Vapors can cause drowsiness and dizziness.The medicine has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The medicine must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding as there is a lack of sufficient information about possible risks.
