Directions for use of clove oil: Clove oil is a vitalising fragrance oil that can be used as a cosmetic raw material for various preparations of cosmetic products. It is also suitable for use in the fragrance lamp or for oral care. The essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the clove plant by steam distillation. It has an intense spicy, sweet and warm scent description. For fragrance experiences in the fragrance lamp, add up to 2 drops of clove oil to approx. 50 ml of water. For skin care, mix up to 2 drops of clove oil with approx. 50 ml base oil. For oral care, add up to 2 drops of clove oil to 1 glass of water. It is important that the clove oil is used within 12 months of opening. It must not get into the hands of children and should not be used on infants, young children or during pregnancy. The recommended amount should not be exceeded as the oil can cause allergic skin reactions and can be fatal if swallowed. If swallowed, the Poisons Information Centre or a doctor should be contacted immediately. Medical advice should be sought if skin irritation or rash occurs. The ingredients of clove oil are Eugenia caryophyllus leaf oil, Benzyl benzoate, Eugenol, Limonene and Linalool. The information comes from the manufacturer and is valid until March 2023.
