Directions for use of the article Kamistad Gel: - Kamistad gel is used for the treatment of mild inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa. - It contains the active ingredients lidocaine hydrochloride and extract of chamomile flowers. - It is used by applying the gel to the inflamed areas and gently massaging it in. - The recommended dose is a strand of gel about 1/2 cm long 3 times a day. - The gel should not be used for more than a week without medical advice. - Possible side effects may include a slight burning sensation on the mucous membrane. - Caution should be exercised before use by people who are allergic to local anaesthetics, spices, composites or saccharin. - The gel should be protected from heat and stored at room temperature. - The use of the gel is currently not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. - A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any further questions about its use.
