milgamma® 100 contains the active ingredients benfotiamine (fat-soluble vitamin B1 derivative) and pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6). It is used for the treatment of neurological disorders due to a deficiency of vitamin B1 and B6. The tablet should be taken 1x daily with sufficient liquid and can be increased up to 3x daily if necessary. The intake should be reviewed by the attending physician after 4 weeks at the latest. An overdose of benfotiamine is unlikely, whereas high doses of vitamin B6 may lead to neurotoxic effects. The medicine should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. You should consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Possible side effects are hypersensitivity, skin reactions and gastrointestinal disorders. The medicine should be protected from heat and stored at room temperature. It should not be used if you are allergic to certain ingredients or under 18 years of age. Interactions with other medicines may occur, so you should inform your doctor or pharmacist about other medicines.
