Gelostretch bandage is a longitudinally and transversely stretchable zinc gel bandage that allows continuous shaping of the dressing. It consists of a cellulose-based zinc gel applied to a backing of 76% viscose and 24% cotton. The bandage can be applied without cutting in and out, as it is stretchable in the longitudinal and transverse directions without restoring force. Gelostretch is suitable for compression bandaging in phlebological indications such as chronic venous insufficiency, thrombophlebitis and phlebothrombosis. It can also be used as a support and relief bandage for diseases of the ligamentous and retaining apparatus. The duration of application varies according to the recommended change interval.
