The Sensodyne Pro Schmelz Fluoride Gelée Dental Gel is a weekly intensive treatment with fluoride that is used to prevent tooth decay.It strengthens tooth enamel and protects against tooth decay.It also supports the treatment of initial caries and helps with hypersensitive tooth necks.The gel contains peppermint aroma and is available in a tube containing 25 g of dental gel.

Area of application

Mode of action

The Sensodyne Pro Schmelz Fluoride Gelée contains a lot of fluorine, which intensively fluorides, mineralizes and hardens your teeth sustainably.Fluorine is incorporated into tooth enamel, creating greater resistance to acids.The effect is comparable to a protective shield that protects the tooth from tooth decay and external stimuli.The exposed dentin tubules that cause the pain sensitivity are closed and the pain sensitivity decreases significantly.

The active ingredient in Sensodyne Pro Schmelz Fluoride Gelée is sodium fluoride.1 g of dental gel contains 27.65 mg sodium fluoride, corresponding to 1.25% fluoride (12.5 mg or 12,500 ppm fluoride).The composition of 1 g of dental gel includes the active ingredient 12.5 mg fluoride (27.65 mg sodium fluoride), corresponding to 1.25% fluoride (or 12,500 ppm fluoride).Other ingredients are purified water, disodium hydrogen phosphate, carbomer 956, sodium dodecyl sulfate, peppermint flavor, saccharin sodium, grapefruit flavor type A, sodium hydroxide, raspberry flavor and patent blue V (E 131).

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, especially saccharin or dyes such as fuchsin and malachite green, the product should not be used.Children under 7 years should not use the product.

Dosage

In self-medication for caries prevention and to support the treatment of initial caries, after thoroughly cleaning the teeth with normal toothpaste, a 0.7 cm (children between 6 and 12 years) or a 2.5 cm (adults and adolescents from 12 years) long strand of Sensodyne PROSCHMELZ Fluoride Gelée should be placed on a toothbrush and the teeth should be brushed for at least 2 minutes.Then spit out the gel.

For the targeted treatment of hypersensitive tooth necks, a 0.7 cm long strand (adults and adolescents aged 12 and over) of Sensodyne PROSCHMELZ Fluoride Gelée should be placed on the fingertip or a cotton swab and applied to the affected tooth surface.Leave the gel on for 2 minutes and then spit it out.Children between 6 and 12 years of age with signs of hypersensitive tooth necks should only use Sensodyne PROSCHMELZ Fluoride Gelée after consulting a dentist.

No prescription is required for this product.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the jelly.Do not swallow the gel.If you swallow the gel, tell your dentist or doctor.If you suffer from diarrhea or feel unwell after swallowing the gel, see a doctor immediately.Do not use any other fluoride supplements except toothpaste and mouthwash during use.Parents should monitor proper dosage and use in children.For hypersensitive tooth necks: Sensitive teeth can indicate an underlying problem that requires immediate medical attention.If the hypersensitivity of the tooth necks does not improve or even worsens, the treatment must be stopped and a dentist consulted.

This medicine is not known to have any effects on the ability to drive or use machines.
