Application

Dentinox N teething aid is a traditional medicine that is used in the oral cavity.It can be used to provide short-term relief from discomfort associated with first teething.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The ingredients of Dentinox N teething aid include sorbitol and propylene glycol.Ten grams of the gel contains 0.7 grams of sorbitol, which is a source of 0.175 grams of fructose.This corresponds to less than 0.1 bread units (BU).The calorie value of sorbitol is 2.6 kcal per gram. Ten grams of gel also contains 1.5 grams of propylene glycol.

Contraindications

Dentinox N teething aid must not be used if the teething child is allergic to chamomile, other composite plants, lidocaine or related local anesthetics (local anesthetics of the amide type) or to other ingredients mentioned.

Dosage

Apply the gel to the affected area of the gums with a clean finger or a clean cotton swab and massage gently.This should be done especially after meals and before going to sleep.If necessary, the application can be continued until all baby teeth, including the later molars, emerge.

Patient information

If you have severe redness and swelling of your gums or severe accompanying symptoms, you should consult a doctor.Avoid contact with eyes.Due to the sorbitol content, this medicine is not suitable for patients with the rare inherited fructose intolerance (hereditary fructose intolerance).

Storage instructions

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children, tightly closed and not above 25°C.The shelf life after opening the tube is 12 months.

Thank goodness it is sugar-free and still has a very child-friendly flavour. I used or applied it particularly to the canines and molars. These were the most painful for us. I didn't use it regularly otherwise, only when it really hurt the child. Dentinox gel was usually enough, I never had to give him anything stronger. It works within about 10 minutes and the effect lasts for a few hours, especially at night, as the child doesn't run his tongue over it as often.

I use this gel on my son during the teething phase. It is enough to apply a small amount to the area of tooth flesh and the gel works within a short time. I mainly use it before going to bed, then he calms down a little and can sleep more easily without teething pain. Fast-acting teething gel. Super helpful during the teething phase when the little ones are really sore. What's particularly good is that it works within minutes, so children calm down quickly. I find it particularly good in the evening. You don't have to worry about sugar or anything else, as the teething gel is sugar-free and tastes sweet thanks to the xylitol. In my experience, children like to have this gel applied as the flavour is child-friendly and it doesn't take long to apply. The tube is practical and a good size.

Great product for teething! Helps for a few minutes and sticks well to the gums. Our little one also had it applied easily, and it works very well if you get a finger stick to go with it. You can then use it to massage the gums, which also relieves the pain. As the Dentinox gel contains xylitol and is therefore sugar-free and caries-inhibiting, it can also be applied at night without a guilty conscience (if the existing teeth have already been brushed). A very helpful product that has got us through the bad phases of teething wonderfully easily and painlessly.

Can only recommend the Dentinox gel! We massaged it into our little man's gums with a finger stick and it helped straight away. We had previously tried globules, but in my opinion they didn't help as well as this gel.
