TANTUM VERDE 3 mg lozenges are used for the symptomatic local treatment of pain and irritation in the mouth and throat. They contain the active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride and are suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age. The lozenges should be dissolved slowly in the mouth and not swallowed or chewed. The dosage is one lozenge 3 times a day for adults and children over 6 years. The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days. Side effects such as increased photosensitivity of the skin may occur. The medicine should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Pregnant women should not use the medicine unless recommended by their doctor.
