Directions for use of Neostrata Gel Plus Salicylic: The gel contains 15% glycolic acid and 2% salicylic acid. It is actively effective against Propionibacterium acnes and promotes the penetration of other therapeutic agents. The gel is oil-free, antibacterial and sebum-reducing. It is suitable for the treatment of moderate to severe acne and acne scars. It is recommended that a pea-sized amount be applied to cleansed facial skin and gently massaged in. Initially, the gel should be applied once a day and later twice a day if 10% AHA is well tolerated. It is suitable for oily and combination skin. Treatment should start with the lowest concentration of fruit acid and be increased if well tolerated. The gel may cause tingling, dryness or flaking of the skin for a week, which gradually renews and develops a smooth, radiant and healthy complexion. The ingredients of the gel are Aqua, Alcohol denat, Glycolic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Saccharide Isomerate, Salicylic Acid, Ammonium Hydroxide, Polyquaternium-10 and Tetrasodium EDTA. The gel should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. The gel is manufactured by Derma Enzinger GmbH.
