The Neostrata Clarify Salizinc Gel 10 AHA is an oil-free, antibacterial gel with anti-inflammatory properties.It is suitable for mild to moderate forms of acne and contains 10% glycolic acid, 2% salicylic acid, 4% niacinamide and 1.2% zinc acetate.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

The gel removes dead skin cells and counteracts blockage of the sebaceous gland follicle.It inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes.Glycolic acid exfoliates and builds healthy skin cells, salicylic acid exfoliates, niacinamide has an anti-inflammatory effect and zinc acetate has an antibacterial effect.

The Neostrata Clarify Salizinc Gel 10 AHA contains the following ingredients: Aqua, Alcohol Denat., Glycolic Acid, Niacinamide, Propylene Glycol, Salicylic Acid, Zinc Acetate, Polyquaternium-10, Ammonium Hydroxyde, Tetrasodium EDTA.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.It is not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Application

Apply a pea-sized amount of the gel to clean facial skin and massage gently with your fingers.Use once daily for a week initially and then twice daily later.The gel is suitable for oily and combination skin.All NeoStrata® products are initially used once a day for a week and then twice a day if well tolerated.You may feel a slight tingling sensation during the first few weeks.The skin may initially feel dry or even peel.The skin structure is gradually renewed, creating a smooth, radiant and healthy complexion.Start the treatment with the lowest fruit acid concentration and increase it if tolerated.
