St. John's wort tea

St. John's wort is a herbal medicine that is traditionally used for calming, exhaustion, gastrointestinal complaints and skin irritations.

Traditional internal use

St. John's wort tea is used to support the treatment of nervous restlessness and sleep disorders, to relieve temporary mental exhaustion and to relieve minor gastrointestinal complaints.

Traditional external use

St. John's wort tea can be used externally to treat minor inflammation of the skin, such as sunburn, and small wounds.

These applications are based on many years of experience with the drug in the specified areas of application.

100 g of St. John's wort tea contains the active ingredient St. John's wort.Other components are not included.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to St. John's wort or any of its ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Please refer to the instructions for use for the dosage and method of application.Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 - 2 cups of the freshly prepared tea infusion are drunk regularly in the morning and evening.To do this, 1 - 2 teaspoonfuls (approx. 2 - 4 g) of St. John's wort are poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml), covered and after about 10 minutes passed through a tea strainer.

No prescription is required for this product.

Notes

Intensive UV-radiation, such as solariums or prolonged sunbathing, should be avoided for the duration of use.

Tea infusions should always be prepared with boiling water.Preparation with warm water is not sufficient.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
