Instructions for use of the article Intrafix Safeset Standard 230 cm The Intrafix SafeSet is a special infusion device with ventilation for pressure and gravity infusions. It offers more safety and comfort of use by protecting against air infusions and automatic venting. The product has several features such as the AirStop filter, which prevents air from entering the connection line, and the PrimeStop protective cap, which prevents infusion solutions from leaking. Other features include a sharp piercing mandrel for easy piercing of hanging containers and residue-free emptying of the infusion solution container. The infusion device also has a bacteria-tight vent that can be closed with a Euro flap, a handy drip chamber design with a highly transparent sight glass, an elongated dropper for even drip formation and a flexible pump chamber with a high liquid level. It is also equipped with a 15 µm filter to protect against coarse particles, a roll clamp in the safety colour "orange" with a piercing mandrel receptacle for safe disposal and a pressure resistance of 2 bar for use with infusion pumps designed for a 3 x 4.1 mm tube.
