Information for use with the article Mucoangin Mint 20 mg Lozenges: Mucoangin Mint is a local anaesthetic for the relief of pain in acute sore throats. The lozenges contain the active substance ambroxol hydrochloride and are used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. It is recommended to take 1 lozenge for pain relief. The maximum daily dose is 6 lozenges. The effect is felt within 20 minutes and lasts for at least 3 hours. The duration of use should not exceed 3 days. If symptoms persist or fever is high, a doctor should be consulted. There are some precautions and contraindications to be observed. Mucoangin Mint must not be taken if you are allergic to ambroxol hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of the medicine or if you suffer from fructose intolerance.
