To gargle with inflammation in the mouth and throat, adults including the elderly use a prepared tea infusion 3 times a day, as described under "Preparation.

External use:

To relieve mild skin inflammation, adults including the elderly apply a tea infusion prepared as follows to the affected skin areas 2 to 4 times a day.To prepare it, pour boiling water (approx. 100 ml) over 2 filter bags, let it steep for 10 to 15 minutes and remove the filter bags.To avoid scalding, allow the infusion to cool to approximately body temperature.The infusion is then gargled with the infusion for use in the oral cavity or applied to the affected skin areas for external use.

Duration of application:

If symptoms last longer than 2 weeks or recur periodically, or if symptoms worsen, you must consult a doctor.A doctor must also be consulted if symptoms in the oral cavity last longer than 1 week or if the symptoms worsen.The average duration of use when used externally is two weeks.If signs of inflammation increase, such as redness, overheating or swelling, you should consult a doctor immediately.
