Dermaveel® cream with ectoine without cortisone is a special care for sensitive skin that is prone to eczema.It helps with neurodermatitis by relieving itching, redness and dry skin.The cream supports skin regeneration and is suitable for both adults and children.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

Dermaveel® cream with ectoine without cortisone contains 5.5% ectoine, a natural cell protection molecule that stores water in the skin and moisturizes dry skin.Ectoine binds almost twice as much water as urea, which helps relieve itching.The cream proactively protects the skin and supports its regeneration.

Contraindications

Dermaveel must not be used if you are allergic to ectoine or any of the other ingredients or if the skin is affected by infections.

Dosage

Recommended use of Dermaveel® cream with ectoine without cortisone: Unless otherwise prescribed, use the cream twice a day or as often as necessary.Apply the cream to the affected area and massage gently until completely absorbed into the skin.If well tolerated, Dermaveel is suitable for long-term treatment.If the symptoms worsen or do not improve even after long-term treatment, stop the treatment and contact your doctor or ask at your pharmacy.

Notes

Once opened, Dermaveel® cream with ectoine without cortisone has a shelf life of three months.

How is ectoine different from urea?Ectoine has almost twice as much water-binding capacity as urea.An ectoine molecule binds about seven water molecules, whereas a urea molecule can only bind about four water molecules.
